The Product

Fabricated by Houstons of Cupar Ltd from the finest quality steel, Bale Buddy™ is a superbly crafted product which should give a lifetime of service. The concept is simple and as such employs no electrics, hydraulics, winches or motors of any kind, so there’s
almost nothing to go wrong.

Bale Buddy™ is constructed from 2” and 1.5” box section steel with sections of galvanised footplate to strengthen the parts that take most of the punishment. The construction is robust without being too heavy (110kgs unladen) and balanced in such a way as to make it light and easy to use. The wheelspan (Bale Buddy™ uses 22” flotation wheels to prevent bogging down in soft ground) is wide to confer maximum stability especially when on sloping ground.

The 50mm ball hitch is a robust industrial model fabricated from light weight alloy and is attached to a telescopic drawbar which is retracted for towing. Bale Buddy™ can be towed by any suitable towing vehicle with no problems, even as small as a farm quad.

Bale Buddy™ comes in at £750 plus VAT and delivery. Demand will be strong towards the end of summer so it is adviseable that potential customers make their requirements known in plenty of time. A deposit will be required with each order.
